Junk Yard Dog Extrication Training offers classes to Fire Departments, Police Departments and Towing Companies on how to safely respond to and handle incidents involving Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. We also offer classes on advanced extrication techniques that will help your department overcome the challenges of todays cars.
This course will provide the students with the knowledge to safely respond to and mitigate incidents involving electric/hybrid vehicles. This class meets the NFPA Vehicle Machinery Operations Recertification Requirements.

On January 18th, 2024 the Rosemont Fire Department responded to an electric vehicle fire in a parking structure. In February of 2023 Junk Yard Dog Extrication Training provided EV response training for the entire department.
